Role Overview & Responsibilities

In the Sortation Center, you are responsible for organizing completed packages before they head to their final delivery stations. It’s a high-energy environment focused on routing accuracy and pallet building.

  • Package Sorting: Read digital routing labels and manually sort packages onto the correct conveyor belts or directly into regional destination chutes.
  • Palletizing: Stack boxes strategically onto pallets (like playing Tetris), ensuring stability, and securely wrapping them with shrink-wrap for transit.
  • Fluid Loading: Utilize manual pallet jacks to load finished, heavy pallets onto outbound semi-trailers safely and efficiently.
