A Specialized Work Environment

1. Coordinated Team Lifting: You will partner with colleagues to execute mechanical and manual team lifts for oversized merchandise weighing anywhere from 50 to over 150 pounds, utilizing ergonomic straps, dollies, and hoists to prevent injury.
2. Heavy Machinery Operation: XL associates are frequently cross-trained and certified to drive Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT). You will learn to safely operate clamp trucks (which squeeze large boxes instead of using forks), center-riders, and high-reach forklifts. All training and OSHA-compliant certification is provided on-site at no cost to you.
3. Custom Prep and Palletizing: Heavy items require special care to survive transit. You will securely band and shrink-wrap oversized products onto custom pallets, ensuring fragile electronics or heavy furniture are locked down for the outbound trucks.
